It's hard to accept that it's over. I can't believe our glorious journey came to such an abrupt end. Still, we fought long and hard and through many tears I am proud to say: Good Job boys. Good job Donovan, Dempsey, Altidore, Howard, all of you. I love you all and you are my heroes and though we may not have won the world cup, we sure showed the world that we can keep up with the big boys and play.
Praise is not won but earned by great performance.

I just got thrown off a horse. If that doesn't hurt then I don't know WHAT does.
Us Texans have our critters and I decided I was gonna ride one of the big ones, a horse. I hope up on that bad boy and after an hour, I'm feeling and looking pretty good and the horse, Gus, is doing just fine.
Coming down a straight in the fields where there are no trees just even, hard ground. Hard being the keyword.
The horse decides it wants to run and I cannot stop the crazed gelding. Fast run and a sudden done.
